ABOUT HARI
Kuwahara Sensei has been honing the techniques of HARI for more than 40 years now and his expertise and skill he shares with great heart and generosity in these training series.  If you are unfamiliar with Japanese acupuncture techniques and styles or if you are a 30 year veteran of practicing the gentle art of palpation based medicine, all will find Kuwahara Sensei’s teachings exceptionally useful in your current practice and the techniques he teaches to develop the practitioner’s palpation and needle technique will sharpen and increase the Ki manipulation abilities in your hands and bring heart and spirit into the treatment process.

HARI works from within the heart of the East Asian ancient Five phases system, Kototama.  Its theoretical foundation is based in the Five phase/dimensional model derived from the Japanese classics Koji-ki and Nihon-Shoki and grounds itself clinically with Ki (E-Ki) evaluation Pulse dx. methods. The Hari whole system has a flexible approach to local treatment which draws from the strengths of various Japanese classical acupuncture practices and the Chinese classics Su Wen, Ling Shu, and Nan Jing.

The study and practice of the Life-style of Hari develops the practitioner’s awareness in the meditative stage that is Kū 空—Mu 無 and the high dimensional quality of Ki.

OVERALL GOALS AND TOPICS OF THE HARI PROGRAM

Essence of Hari Practice are (Ho) and (Sha):
Know oneself for the beginning of the universe (Ho/Tonification) and how to tune up our Rhythm (Sha/Dispersion).

Diagnostic process and Treatment in the most up to date version of Hari:
* Three dimensional steps to assess the SHO (Pattern of Imbalance and Treatment Strategy).
* Intuitive (Kototama=Shin and SHO) Intuitive-Dimension.
* Japanese Meridian therapy (E-ki flow-change in the meridians) Sixth sense-Dimension.
* Traditional Chinese Medicine (Ki in the physical body) Fifth sense -Dimension.
* Emphasis on pulse and superficial skin palpation dx.
* Utilizing clairvoyance through your hands and in your meditative state of mind.
* Use of Teishin (Ultra-Thin Teishin) Futomani method.
* We refine our palpation and Ki diagnosis skills, learn and practice live point location
* Finding “Volcano points” and doing Hara Ki dx.

Hari Treatment with Futomani-Shinpo:
* Simplified Teishin (UTT/NON-insertion) methods: Ho, Ho-chu-no-Sha, Yusha, Waho and O-Kyu
* We will refine our Feeling of the obtaining, coming and going of Ki, while focusing on “Ki arrival”,
* We will learn how to liberate Ja-Ki, and the Long Distance treatment method (Shinkiko).

Ki feedback methods: Evaluation of the tx:
* The evaluation system centers on the E-Ki changes in Aha-mat (telepathic intuition).
* Feedback from changes in patient’s and/or practitioner’s pulse to monitor the before, during, and after treatment quality and changes.

Advanced Techniques:
* Abdominal Ki Dx by area and points on the Hara
* SHO determination for Root with SHIGO, Extra Vessel system.
* Easy and quick Hara dx, the re-discovery of the HT SHO, and usage of the HT channel for SP SHO.

We brush up on our original Japanese meridian therapy works:
* Determining the Primary and Secondary SHO (Pattern of Imbalance and Treatment Strategy)
* Point selection, based on Nanjing Ch. 68, 69, 75
* Pulse quality dx. in Six Positions
* Oshide/Sashide, Body and Spiritual posture
